Sweet 16 cake

Well, this would be a WOW cake! It's a kinda busy looking cake, but I'm sure the sweet 16 year old that received it loved it. Very Diva looking. The middle and top tier are the Topsy Turvy look. The cupcake made a great top tier.
serves approx. 80-85 guests

Due to the degree of difficulty of making a topsy turvy cake, and the extra cake needed to make the look, the price is more. I can make this cake with straight tiers as well.

Circus Clown Cake

I'm not a big clown fan, but everytime I make a cake with them on it, it turns out super cute!! I made this cake for a college friend of mine. Her two children were having a duo party. The house looked great and the party looked super fun. The cake fit perfect with the decorations. I so love it when the cakes turn out really cute... makes me happy :)

serves approx. 70-80 guests

Thomas the Train Cake

Ok, this was my first attempt at making a Thomas Cake, using the 3-D pan. WOW it's a tricky thing to get the fondant over that shaped cake. The final out come turned out cute. My son saw a picture of it and was so excited, so I'm hoping that the little boy who received it, loved it as well.
serves approx. 50 guests

Present Cake

These cakes are great if just need a cake for a party and don't really have a theme. They can be made in any color scheme, rectangular, round or square. You can also decide the pattern of the wrapping paper as well. It's a great fun looking cake. This cake was for a man's 35th Birthday, so we went with a more masculine look for the cake.

Oh The Places You'll Go

This cake came out so cute! I was really happy with it, and I love the story. The balloons on the bottom tier, are from a scene in the book. I thought that the clouds with the title of the book on them just made the cake. The colors are so pretty as well. The client wanted the cake similar to my candy cake, with a little twist to it. I was really happy with the outcome, it was a real "WOW" cake. What a lucky little girl!

serves about 80 guests

Red Flower Wedding Cake

This wedding cake came out so simple and pretty. Sometimes keeping it simple really does turn out the best. It had really clean lines. The flowers were handmade out of fondant and gumpaste. This design can be created in any color scheme.

Western Cowboy Cake

There are some cakes that I create that I fall in love with. This was one of them. I have seen similar cakes on websites, and have always wanted to try my hand at making one. Well, I finally got my chance. I love the cow print!! This too was for a little boys first birthday, it was a combination Cowbay/ farm themed party. The customer also wanted some cupcakes to match the cake. This is going down as one of my favorites.
serves approx 80-90 guests

Sesame Street Cake

This cake is a larger 2 tiered cake. It will feed approx 50-60 guests. I loved the bright colors of this cake, plus I just love Sesame Street!! I think Cookie Monster came out the cutest. Big Bird was the hardest of the characters to create. What a fun cake for a little boys 1st birthday!

serves approx 50-60 guests

This is a second version of a Sesame Street cake I did for a friend of mine. Her Daughter was turning 2 and she saw the 1st Sesame Street cake that I did and liked it so much, she wanted something similar. Her little girl is so cute, I had to make it just as cute as she is! This cake is a little smaller than the one above.

Well, I've been off from doing cakes for about a month now, since having my little baby. So, I was pleased that my first cake back was for a baby shower... for twins. I love the colors in this cake, so soft and neutral. It was a great was to get back into the swing of making cakes. The Mom-to-be loved it too!! Many blessings to her and the babies.

Baby Boy Bootie Cake

This cake turned out really stunning. When I was finished, I loved the colors. I'm always worried, when customers what scuplted items on the cake, since I don't think of myself as the sculpting queen, but the shoes turned out really cute, and realistic looking, I was happy with the result. I loved the buttons as the accents to the diamond pattern. I usually do flowers, but since it was for a boy, I had to think of something else!!
serves approx 40 guests

Wow Wow Wubbzy Cake

This cake was a little tricky to make. I watch Wubbzy, on TV, but trying to get the stylized background look from the show, cut out of fondant is quite the task. The final outcome of the cake was really cute and the customer was really happy with the cake, which is the most important thing.

Wow Wow Wubbzy Cake

Backyardigans Cake

This cake came out super cute. I can always tell the success of my cakes, when my kids get supper excited when they see it. All the characters were sculpted from marshmallow fondant, so they are edible. It was a very colorful and cute cake, perfect for the Backyardigan fan.

Pirate Mermaid

The customer for this cake requested a little mermaid/ pirate theme for the cake, but to keep it girly. This was my interpretation of her idea. All items are marshmallow fondant, and the sand is made from crushed graham crackers. It turned out really cute.

Floral 1st B-day

This cake came out beautiful!! There was one point when it just had the yellow ribbon and the large pink flowers where it looked like a really cute wedding cake. I was given the party invitation, that had butterflies and pink and orange flowers on it. Usually I do really cute and symetrical cakes, but I wanted to try a casade/ swag effect, just something different. It turned out to be a very elegant and clean looking cake, I was really happy with the final look. I also did a matching smash cake.

Floral 1st birthday cake: $160 (as shown)
serves 70-80 guests

Monkey Cake

This cake was done for a little girl's first birthday. She had a matching smash cake as well. Smash cakes are usually done in white buttercream with minimal fondant decorations. The cake turned out super cute. I think I'm getting better at making monkeys. This is my 3rd cake with monkeys on them, but they are sooo cute.

Monkey cake: $135 (as shown)

Lightening McQueen Cake

Well, I've done "CARS" cakes before, but I've never actually made Lightening McQueen. This one was a challenge. The carved cakes always are!! Lightening is solid cake, no filling, it would only feed 12, which is why we have McQueen driving on the road, the bottom cake has filling and would feed approx. 25. The little boy and his brother were so excited when they saw the cake. I love when that happens.

Lightening McQueen Cake (as shown) $80
serves approx. 35-40 guests

Jungle Theme

This cake was for a little boy's 1st birthday. It really turned out cute. Very vibrant colors. It was inspired from a picture the customer sent to me. The colors can always be altered to fit your party theme.

This cake was for my husbands 40th birthday. He is a very big Star Wars fan. The shape of this cake is called a Topsy Turvy, Mad Hatter or Whimsical cake. Of course we had to have the Death Star on top. It turned out really cool, and he was one happy husband. The middle tier has planets Tie fighter and x-wings around it.

Tinkerbell Cake

This cake was for a little girl's birthday. My daughter saw it, and now wants a Tinkerbell birthday party... or at least that week she did. It was such a pretty cake, the colors blended really nicely. Tinkerbell is coming out of a flower on the top tier, how fun is that??

Betty Boop Cake

I wasn't quite sure what to do, when I was asked to make a Betty Boop cake. So, I found a great picture of her and copied it in fondant. Of course I had to have kissy lips on the cake too. In the end, it turned out to be a really cute cake.

Starbucks Cake

This cake was done for my very good friend's Birthday. She loves Starbucks!! We walked through the Irvine Spectrum with this cake and turned so many heads. We actually had a gentleman stop us to take a picture of it, to give to his friend. The coolest thing is, you can get this cake with a mocha filling!!! It was a great cake, for a great friend.

Starbucks cake (as shown) $70
serves approx. 30 guests

Silhouette Cake

This actually was a tricky cake for me to do. The silhouettes were so detailed and small, it took quite awhile to copy. I have new found respect for the silhouette artists at Disneyland. It did turn out to be a very striking cake, with such bold and strong colors.

Farm Cake

This one took awhile for me to make. Lots of colors, and then shaping all of the animals. I think the cow was the hardest of all the animal to make. Just how does a cow lay down in the field?? Trying to get the legs correct was the tricky part. In the end it turned out really cute. The customer requested picks coming out of the cake, so I thought the flowers were closest pick shape to the theme of the cake.
serves approx. 40 guests

Pregnant Tummy Cake

This was my first attempt at one of these cakes. I have seen them on different websites, but never had a chance to make one. Finally I received a request for one. I think it turned out quite well. I like the colors of the dress.

Monkey business

This cake was for a little boys 1st birthday. The mom sent me the invitation she used for the party. It had yellow and blue polka dots and then a monkey face. She asked for just polka dots on the cake, but I had to add the monkey too, and I'm so glad I did, she had stuffed monkeys on all the tables, and it just looked perfect for the party. It is such a simple and clean looking cake. It really turned out well.

I decided to curl the picks sticking out, just to add that extra element of fun. It was such a colorful cake. It was really fun looking.

High School Musical - Camp Rock

This cake was done for my niece, who just turned 7. She couldn't make up her mind between HSM and Camp Rock... so we did both. I used the musical notes to tie the two themes together. The logos for the movies really made the cake, and I heard that the kids were fighting over who got to eat the star picks.
